How slug generation works?
The text is lowercased, spaces and punctuation are replaced by the chosen separator and any remaining unsafe characters are dropped. Accented letters are transliterated as well, so "Creme Brulee Recipe" becomes creme-brulee-recipe and a German "Größe" becomes grosse.
A good slug improves readability of the address in search results and helps search engines understand the topic of the page. Keep slugs short, descriptive and stable - changing them later means setting up redirects.
